Last week: 6-4
Season: 55-43-2
TCU at Baylor -1 1/2 — Just four years ago this college football’s marquee matchup. Now? Both playing merely for pride. Pick: Baylor
West Virginia at Oklahoma State +5 — Cowboys emotionally gutted after final-play loss in Bedlam. Pick: West Virginia
Kansas at Oklahoma -35 1/2 — Sooners can name their score, and it will be 50+. Pick: Oklahoma
Texas Tech at Kansas State +6 — Red Raiders’ QB Jett Duffey is way too careless with the ball. Pick: Kansas State
Iowa State at Texas -2 1/2 — Cyclones have been doing it with mirrors all season. Blowout warning. Pick: Texas
Syracuse at Notre Dame -10 1/2 — Irish are better, but those hideous pinstripe pants will keep it close. Pick: Syracuse
UAB at Texas A&M -17 — 9-1 Blazers with more motivation and, just maybe, even a better team. Pick: UAB
Northwestern at Minnesota -2 — Wait, a 6-1 team is an underdog at a 2-5 team? Load me up. Pick: Northwestern
Southern Cal at UCLA +3 1/2 — Not even Troy Aikman or Tyron Smith will managed to care about this deteriorated rivalry. Pick: Southern Cal
Cowboys at Atlanta -3 1/2 — First time this season Cowboys’ defense has faced a Top 10 offense. I don’t think it goes well. Pick: Atlanta
Jimmy Burch
Last Week: 7-3
Season: 54-44-2
TCU at Baylor – 1 1/2 — TCU suffers its final indignity of a forgettable season by removing itself from bowl consideration with the loss that sends the archrival Bears to the postseason for the first time under coach Matt Rhule. Pick: Baylor
West Virginia at Oklahoma State + 5 – When the Cowboys lack the emotional fire they show during rivalry games, they usually lack enough points to keep things competitive. Pick: West Virginia
Kansas at Oklahoma – 35 1/2 — Oklahoma wins and scores at will. But the defense surrenders enough points in garbage time to allow Kansas to cover. Pick: Kansas
Texas Tech at Kansas State + 6 — Kliff Kingsbury and his crew need another win to become bowl-eligible. They squeeze it out, but only by the narrowest of margins. Pick: Kansas State
Iowa State at Texas – 2 1/2 — In a toss-up game, the coin says “Longhorns” because they are playing at home. Pick: Texas
Syracuse at Notre Dame – 10 1/2 — Sounds like bad weather is expected on game day in Yankee Stadium for this contest. Give me Syracuse and the points while putting Notre Dame’s playoff hopes on upset alert. Pick: Syracuse
UAB at Texas A&M – 17 — UAB has a tremendous record but the Blazers have yet to face a team comparable to the Aggies. Pick: A&M
Northwestern at Minnesota – 2 — Does Northwestern suffer an emotional letdown now that the Wildcats have won the title in the weakest division in Power 5 football? Of course, they do …it’s the Little Ten! Pick: Minnesota
Southern Cal at UCLA + 3 1/2 — It’s a good thing LA now has two quality NFL teams to distract them from this yawner. Pick: Southern Cal
Cowboys at Atlanta – 3 1/2 — Call me crazy, but my gut tells me the Cowboys secure an actual winning “streak” (two consecutive wins!) they will carry into Thanksgiving Day against the Redskins. Pick: Cowboys
Anthony Andro
Last Week: 5-5
Season: 53-45-2
TCU at Baylor -1 1/2 — Bowl berth is driving Bears. Pick: Baylor
West Virginia at Oklahoma State +5 — It’s impossible to figure out Cowboys. Pick: West Virginia
Kansas at Oklahoma -35 1/2 — Kansas is really sliding. Pick: Oklahoma
Texas Tech at Kansas State +6 — KSU offense can’t keep up with Tech. Pick: Texas Tech
Iowa State at Texas -2 1/2 — Horns at home tough to beat. Pick: Texas
Syracuse at Notre Dame -10 1/2 — The Irish have a title chance. Pick: Notre Dame
UAB at Texas A&M -17 — UAB will keep it close. Pick: UAB
Northwestern at Minnesota -2 — Go with the home team. Pick: Minnesota
Southern Cal at UCLA +3 1/2 — Southern Cal offense is terrible. But so are Bruins. Pick: USC
Cowboys at Atlanta -3 1/2 — This has blowout written all over it. Pick: Atlanta
Marjorie Lewis
Last Week: 5-5
Season: 50-48-2
TCU at Baylor – 1 1/2 – TCU will be much improved next season. Not this week. Pick: Baylor
West Virginia at Oklahoma State + 5 – West Virginia is at least a touchdown better. Pick: West Virginia
Kansas at Oklahoma- 35 1/2 – That’s a lot of points. That’s Kansas. Pick: Oklahoma
Texas Tech at Kansas State +6 – A toss up, but this should be Tech’s to win or lose. Pick: Texas Tech
Iowa State at Texas -2 1/2 – Iowa State is doing a lot of things really well. Pick: Iowa State
Syracuse at Notre Dame – 10 1/2 – A tough one. Just not sure the Irish will cover. Pick: Syracuse
UAB at Texas A&M – 17 – Under the radar but not a bad team. Pick: UAB
Northwestern at Minnesota -2 – Will not let down just because it has locked up a spot in the conference title game. Pick: Northwestern
USC at UCLA + 3 1/2 – Two so-so teams but UCLA is a little less so-so. Pick: USC
Cowboys at Atlanta – 3 1/2 – Two in a row on the road? Pick: Atlanta
John Henry
Last Week: 4-6
Season: 46-52-2
TCU at Baylor -1 1/2 – The Brazos is Frogs’ only refuge in Waco as bowl eligibility goes down stream. Pick: Baylor.
West Virginia at Oklahoma State +5 – Oklahoma State on the road, with the exception of last week, isn’t very good. Oklahoma State at home on the other hand … . Pick: Oklahoma State.
Kansas at Oklahoma -35 1/2 – Look at all those points. Can OU? Should OU? Yes and yes. But, just say no. Pick: Kansas.
Texas Tech at Kansas State +6 – The only place Kansas State can win is at home, but Tech, 6-4 against the spread, gets off a three-game skid with a better-than-TD triumph. Pick: Texas Tech.
Iowa State at Texas -2 1/2 – Memory is failing me when trying to recall the last time Iowa State played a meaningful game in November. Or is it failing? Confident Cyclones continue rolling 7s and 11s. Pick: Iowa State.
Syracuse at Notre Dame -10 1/2 – The Drunken Irish are 3-4 against the spread in the House that Rockne Built. Enough George Gipp slips. Pick: Syracuse.
UAB at Texas A&M -17 – Color me green and gold at Kyle Field. Born-again Blazers are better than 17-point dogs on big SEC payday. Pick: UAB.
Northwestern at Minnesota -2 – A must-win for the Gophers at home on Senior Day. Northwestern has clinched the Big Ten West. Pick: Minnesota.
Southern Cal at UCLA +3 1/2 – This is one that should have really been buried in a Pacific Coast time slot instead of midday. Pick: Southern Cal.
Cowboys at Atlanta -3 1/2 – Predictable unpredictable Cowboys take momentum from big Philly win and make Sherman-like advance on Atlanta. Not. Pick: Atlanta.
Bill Nichols
Last Week: 4-6
Season: 44-54-2
TCU at Baylor -1 1/2 – Bears favored over Frogs was not what I envisioned when season started. Pick: Baylor
West Virginia at Oklahoma State +5 – Not only will the Cowboys cover, they will win. Pick: Oklahoma State
Kansas at Oklahoma -35 1/2 – Sooners will have to hit the century mark to cover this spread. Pick: Kansas
Texas Tech at Kansas State +6 — Raiders have lost their QB, their last three games, and are favored by six on the road? Seriously? Pick: Kansas State
Iowa State at Texas -2 1/2 – Love the Cyclones as an underdog, especially when they are riding a five-game winning streak. Pick: Iowa State
Syracuse at Notre Dame -10 1/2 – Even those hideous pinstripe-sleeve jerseys won’t keep the Irish from rolling. Pick: Notre Dame
UAB at Texas A&M -17 – Aggies are not a great as a big favorite. This will be closer than expected. Pick: UAB
Northwestern at Minnesota -2 – Wildcats managed to win despite scoring only 14 points last week vs Iowa and the Gophers crushed Purdue. Pick: Minnesota
Southern Cal at UCLA +3 1/2 – Bruins are considerably worse than the Trojans, which means they hit rock bottom. Pick: Southern Cal
Cowboys at Atlanta -3 1/2 – It has been almost a year since the Cowboys won consecutive games. No way their inconsistent offense can hang with the Falcons. Pick: Atlanta
Jan Hubbard
Last Week: 3-7
Season: 44-54-2
TCU at Baylor -1 1/2 — It seem that every time I pick the Frogs, they lose. So I figure I owe them a favor. Pick: Baylor
West Virginia at Oklahoma State +5 — No team has the extremes of OSU – beat Texas, lose to Baylor, etc. But I do like the home dog. Pick: OSU
Kansas at Oklahoma -35 1/2 — Jayhawks are actually 5-5 vs. line. But with a lame duck coach and playing at OU? Nope. Pick: OU
Texas Tech at Kansas State +6 — I can’t figure out either school so I flipped a coin. Pick: Texas Tech
Iowa State at Texas -2 1/2 — Who thought Iowa State would be in a meaningful game this late? ISU is No.1 in Big 12 in total defense and scoring defense. Pick: Iowa State
Syracuse at Notre Dame -10 1/2 — Orange lost by only four at Clemson. They are real deal. I do think ND wins, but the line is too large. Pick: Syracuse
UAB at Texas A&M -17 — UAB is 9-1 but competition is suspect. Aggies should expose the Blazers. Pick: A&M
Northwestern at Minnesota -2 — Wildcats won Big Ten West last week and it is an underdog? Jump on this one. Pick: Northwestern
Southern Cal at UCLA +3 1/2 — Chip Kelly may be a force in years to come. But not yet. Pick: USC
Cowboys at Atlanta -3 1/2 — Cowboys 1-4 on the road, albeit the win is over defending champs. But Atlanta is also desperate especially after a loss at Cleveland. Pick: Atlanta
Art Garcia
Last Week: 2-8
Season: 42-56-2
TCU at Baylor -1 1/2 — Didn’t think I would ever be on this side of the fence. Pick: Baylor
