Penn State at Ohio State -18 — Ohio State may be one of the two best teams in the nation, but that’s too many points. Pick: Penn State

Oklahoma State at West Virginia +6 1/2 — Surprised the spread isn’t greater even with OSU playing a backup QB. Pick: Oklahoma State

Illinois at Iowa -15 1/2 — Lovie is surprising a few people. Pick: Illinois

Michigan at Indiana +9 1/2 — Now that I’m finally a believer, I’ve probably picked the wrong team. Pick: Michigan

Cowboys at Patriots -6 1/2 — Defending Super Bowl champs at home? Seems easy. Pick: Patriots

Seahawks at Eagles -1 — Seahawks should have the slight edge. Pick: Seahawks

Packers at 49ers -3 — Haven’t been given a reason to go against the 49ers at home. Pick: 49ers

Ravens at Rams +3 — Ravens look awfully good. Pick: Ravens

Texas A&M at Georgia -13 1/2 — I really want to pick the Aggies, but they can’t stay on the field with real competition. Pick: Georgia

SMU at Navy -3 1/2 — The Midshipmen have always given the Ponies fits. Pick: Navy

Penn State at Ohio State -18 — This is such a sucker line, but I can’t resist. Pick: Penn State

Oklahoma State at West Virginia +6 1/2 — The Mountaineers have shown some fight late in the season. And the Pokes are missing their star QB. Pick: West Virginia

Illinois at Iowa -15 1/2 — If there’s one game I’m determined not to watch, it’s this one. Pick: Illinois

Michigan at Indiana +9 1/2 — Give me the Hoosiers all the way. I love this bet! Pick: Indiana

Cowboys at Patriots -6 1/2 — Dak Prescott’s MVP campaign hits a snag, but the Cowboys keep it close. Pick: Cowboys

Seahawks at Eagles -1 — This is where the Eagles make a stand. Pick: Eagles

Packers at 49ers -3 — I really respect the Niners defense, but Jimmy G can’t keep pace with Aaron. Pick: Packers

Ravens at Rams +3 — Wade Phillips feels so much better with Jalen Ramsey AND a running game. Pick: Rams

Penn State at Ohio State -18 — Man this is a big line for a top-10 matchup. But yeah Ohio State is that good. Pick: Ohio State

Oklahoma State at West Virginia +6 1/2 — Going to be cool, cloudy and not much wind. Perfect morning for running the ball. Pick: Oklahoma State

Illinois at Iowa -15 1/2 — Iowa doesn’t put up a ton of points. Pick: Illinois

Michigan at Indiana +9 1/2 — Let’s go with the Michigan D on the road. Pick: Michigan

Texas at Baylor  -5 1/2  — Herman has a crazy record in bounce-back games, which also suggests he’s coached a lot of them. Baylor is better, but take the points. Pick: Texas

Texas A&M at Georgia  -13 1/2 — I’m not sure if Georgia, with its great defense, even cares to score as many as 13 points, so I suspect the Aggies will struggle to move the ball but keep it close. Pick: Texas A&M

SMU at Navy  -3 1/2  — Ponies and Shane Buechele won’t be awed by the challenge or the setting. Pick: SMU

Penn State at Ohio State  -18  — Finally, a close game for the Buckeyes? Pick: Penn State

Oklahoma State at West Virginia  +6 1/2  — New quarterback for the ‘Pokes and a tough place to play, especially in deer season. Pick: West Virginia

Illinois at Iowa  -15 1/2  — Not the Hawkeyes’ style to cover big spreads like this. Pick: Illinois

Michigan at Indiana  +9 1/2  — With a big game coming up, look for Wolverines to muddle through. Pick:  Indiana

Cowboys at Patriots  -6 1/2  — Cooler heads prevailed and I’m going with the logical choice. Pick: Patriots

Seahawks at Eagles  -1  — Seattle is going to be a huge factor down the stretch. Pick: Seahawks

Packers at 49ers  -3  — Give me the better quarterback in this one. Pick: Packers

Penn State at Ohio State -18 — This gives you an idea out the state of the Big Ten when Vegas distinguishes these two blue bloods by that spread. Ohio State is good. That good? Pick: Penn State

Oklahoma State at West Virginia  +6 1/2 — Remember to try to help a Mountaineer this Thanksgiving. Pick: Oklahoma State

Illinois at Iowa -15 1/2 — Can Iowa score enough points? Probably. Pick: Iowa

Michigan at Indiana +9 1/2 — Going with the “Big Mo.” Blue got it rolling a little bit. Pick: Michigan

Cowboys at Patriots  -6 1/2 — Cold and wet keeps the scoring in check. Pick: Cowboys

Seahawks at Eagles  -1 — What did the Seahawks do to deserve being an underdog in Philly? Pick: Seahawks

Packers at 49ers -3 — Packers have played on this stage. The 49ers are still figuring it out. Pick :Packers

Ravens at Rams +3  — The Ravens are the real deal, playing against a team that’s not so much. Pick: Ravens

Texas at Baylor -5 1/2 — After the 10-4 record last year, Tom Herman’s Longhorns were supposed to be all the way back to excellence. Instead, at 6-4, Texas is struggling and is an underdog to . . . Baylor? Pick: Baylor

Texas A&M at Georgia -13 1/2 — The Aggies three losses are to Clemson, Auburn and Alabama. A&M is competitive with all teams that are not elite. They just can’t beat the big boys. Pick: Georgia

SMU at Navy -3 1/2 — Making a Big Six bowl is no longer possible, but SMU’s revival continues. Pick: SMU

Penn State at Ohio State -18 — Ohio State has scored 515 points and given up 98. Not a good sign for Penn State. Pick: Ohio State

Oklahoma State at West Virginia +6 1/2 — Cowboys pretty much win when you think they are going to lose and vice versa. They are the best team in this game, so . . . Pick: West Virginia

Illinois at Iowa -15 1/2 — Iowa has had trouble against some good teams, which Illinois is not. Pick: Iowa

Michigan at Indiana +9 1/2 — Michigan is playing so well that Jim Harbaugh is almost happy. Pick: Michigan

Cowboys at Patriots -6 1/2 — Let’s see. We’ve got Jason Garrett matching wits with Bill Belichick. Ouch! Pick: Patriots

Seahawks at Eagles -1 — Seahawks have lost only one road game all year. Pick: Seattle

Packers at 49ers -3 — Green Bay is 3-1 in road games. It’s not often the Packers get points. Pick: Green Bay

SMU at Navy -3 1/2 — The Navy option game wears down the Ponies’ defense. Pick: Navy

Penn State at Ohio State -18 — These two typically play tight games, not landslides.
Pick: Penn State

Oklahoma State at West Virginia +6 1/2 — The Cowboys’ ground game carries the day in a
much-needed road victory. Pick: Oklahoma State

Illinois at Iowa -15 1/2 — The Illini, winners of four straight, will make the Hawkeyes sweat and
could pull the upset. Pick: Illinois

Michigan at Indiana +9 1/2 — Jim Harbaugh’s crew continues to build momentum heading into
the finale against Ohio State. Pick: Michigan

Cowboys at Patriots -6 1/2 — The Cowboys bow their necks in a rough road environment and …
make things interesting. Hard to envision an outright win, though. Pick: Cowboys

Seahawks at Eagles -1 — Russell Wilson finds another creative way to deliver another close
victory. Pick: Seahawks

Packers at 49ers -3 — Jimmy G and the Niners’ D survive a close one to close in on home-field
advantage in the NFC playoffs. Pick: 49ers
