Jim Reeves

Jim Reeves has covered sports in the DFW area for half a century, including 40 years as a baseball writer and columnist at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He is a multiple award winner as Texas sports writer and sports columnist of the year, a Pulitzer Prize nominee and the only sports writer ever to win the national TCU Schieffer School of Journalism Ethics Award (2007).

Reeves was a finalist and runner-up for the 2016 and 2017 J.G. Taylor Spink Award for Meritorious Baseball Writing, but his most famous (or infamous) moment may have come outside the press box – literally – when he danced on the ledge during a post-game Beach Boys concert at Arlington Stadium in the early '80s.
